Golden Ratio - Mask of the Perfect Face



This video focuses on the elements of the facial mask that is derived form the golden ratio. This mask marks the distinctions of faces that are most attractive to humans. After placing the mask on various celebrities that are considered beautiful, or attractive, one can clearly see that there is a remarkable correlation between the mask, it’s points, and what we consider to be attractive.

Further into the video, the narrator shows how the slight variations in the differences between the female and male versions of the mask can easily be manipulated to change the sex appearance of an individual.

Log Cabin Chinking - Purity and the Art of the Line

The task of applying daubing or chinking between the logs on a log home does not, on the surface, bring to mind any sacred mathematics, geometry, or golden mean however the author approaches the subject with the passion of an artist.

An Explanation of The Golden Ratio - Video



In the 13th century, a mathematician named Leonardo Fibonacci discovered an important number sequence. It’s a very simple sequence of numbers, starting with the number one, twice, each succeeding number in the sequence is the sum of the two preceding numbers, so the sequence goes: 1, 1, 2, 3 , 5 ,8 and so on. And for reasons that are pretty mysterious, this sequence of numbers seems to appear in a wide variety of places in the natural world.

Fibonacci spirals are in scales all around us, from the DNA molecule, to the spiral galaxy.

What is phi Φ, or the “Golden Ratio”?

Also known as “the Divine Proportion”, the Golden Ratio or, phi ( Φ ) has been the mystery, cause, hope and fixation of many of the world’s foremost mathematicians, artists, architects, musicians, scientists, theologians, philosophers and mystics.
